FRIENDSHIP SUNDAY IS MAY 11 - When I have something I'm excited about, I invite my friends to come with me to enjoy the event or place. Sunday, May 11, at both the 8:30 and 10:30 worship services, we encourage you to bring a friend to experience worship with us.  Your friends could include a family member, neighbor or co-worker.  The E Team will roll out the welcome mat and be sure to smile when we meet those you bring!  Start now and ask God who on your list of friends you might ask to attend Spirit Alive!

ADULT FORUM TO REFLECT ON WORSHIP MESSAGE IN JUNE – The adult forum during the month of June will be held from 8:30 am to 9:25 am and again will focus on the worship theme and message from the previous Sunday.  Please join the group for faith building, prayer and sharing.

FAITHWALK NEW MEMBER CLASSES COMING IN JUNE -  Our next series of Faithwalk new member classes will be held on Thursday, June 5th and June 12th at 7 pm at Jordan Financial office, 6123 Green Bay Road, suite 260.  The first class focuses on the building blocks of our Christian faith and the second evening looks at our gifts, passions and personality that God has given us in life.  These classes are for those people who are thinking about taking the next step of commitment and officially joining Spirit Alive!  If you are interested in the Faithwalk class please talk with Pastor Larry.

ONE UNITY WORSHIP SERVICE DURING THE SUMMER – This summer Spirit Alive! will be hosting only one Sunday morning worship service at 9:30 am.  The summer schedule is in effect from May 25, Memorial Day weekend through August 31, Labor Day Weekend.  Our regular two worship schedule will begin in September.  Please join us this summer for our Unity worship at 9:30 am!

THE PRAYER QUILT/PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT-So far, all the material for the quilt tops have been purchased by those who made them.  Thankfully, donations have paid for most of the batting.  There will be a running need for donations to this ministry.  We are requesting donations of fabric, cash, gift cards to JoAnn Fabrics, etc.  We also encourage ANYONE to make a quilt top or shawl, and we can give you some easy patterns to try your hand   One of the most important things we want to stress; this is not about the quilts/shawls, it's about the prayers.  These will not be award winning quilts/shawls.  We hope they will be God winning quilts/shawls.

JOIN A STUDY ON GRIEF IN MAY - A new adult series led by Donna Johnson will be held starting May 11 called GRIEF SMARTS. The group will meet between services.  Most of us have experienced loss in some way during our lives - a difficult move, death of a loved one, divorce, job cut, etc.  It hurts!  That journey can be less painful with some helps in dealing with loss.  But most of us have also known someone who has experienced such losses, and it is helpful to have some guidelines in supporting one another.  Join the group to gain insights in caring for yourself and helping one another in a healthy manner.
